Meet CHARLIE.
My friend Chris invited me to sit in on one of his new band’s practice sessions. Feeling inspired by a tutorial I had recently watched, I busted out my iPad and started working on some digital art for the band. That neon effect could have probably been done easily in Photoshop, but I had a crack at doing it entirely in Procreate.
Over the weekend I cleaned up some of the photos from their recent photoshoot and popped some stuff into a few tasty GraphicBurger templates I had on my computer.
It’s really just goofing around, but I’m proud of how it all turned out.
They only have 6 or 7 songs, so it could be a few months until they get big. I’m just charging them in beer for now. When they do take off, you’ll know, and I’ll start getting paid with nicer beer.
